What is the EURAXESS network?

EURAXESS – Researchers in Motion is a unique pan-European initiative that offers information and support services to researchers. Backed by the European Union, Member States and Associated Countries, it supports the mobility of researchers and the development of their careers, while strengthening scientific collaboration between Europe and the world.

The regional node for Extremadura region is managed by FUNDECYT Science and Technology Park of Extremadura

The EURAXESS network is made up of more than 500 service centers in 40 different countries that provide free assistance to researchers and their families in matters such as visas, recognition of diplomas, social security and any other legal and cultural aspect. In general, the international network is made up of national networks with a specific structure defined by the European Commission.

The regional node for Extremadura region is managed by FUNDECYT Science and Technology Park of Extremadura.

Con la estrecha colaboración de Extremadura en el mundo

Extremadura en el mundo es uno de los pilares clave de la Acción Exterior de Extremadura y engloba todas las acciones realizadas para facilitar e incentivar el retorno y la conexión con los extremeños en el exterior. La plataforma Extremadura en el mundo ofrece la posibilidad de crear redes, recoger las demandas de la ciudadanía extremeña en el exterior y difundir las medidas que facilitan el retorno.
Queremos conectar el talento, facilitar la puesta en marcha de proyectos y colaboraciones con las instituciones, organismos y empresas de la región y apoyar las iniciativas en las que participen los extremeños en el exterior. En definitiva, ofrecer a los casi 600.000 extremeños que residen fuera un servicio de información y asesoramiento que les permita sentirse parte activa de la región acompañándoles en sus proyectos o en sus iniciativas de retorno, al tiempo que nos ayudan a consolidar y proyectar en sus países y regiones de acogida una Extremadura abierta y actual.

    Extremadura in the world is one of the key pillars of Extremadura's External Action and encompasses all the actions carried out to facilitate and encourage the return and connection with Extremadura citizens abroad. The Extremadura in the world platform offers the possibility to create networks, collect the demands of Extremadura citizens abroad and disseminate the measures that facilitate the return of Extremadura citizens.
    We want to connect talent, facilitate the implementation of projects and collaborations with institutions, organizations and companies in the region and support initiatives in which Extremadurians abroad participate. In short, to offer the nearly 600,000 Extremadurians living abroad an information and advice service that allows them to feel an active part of the region, accompanying them in their projects or in their return initiatives, while helping us to consolidate and project an open and modern Extremadura in their host countries and regions.
